Tesla Drops Since Elon Musk Sells $5 Billion in Tesla Stocks

On Saturday, Mr Musk posted a Twitter poll asking his followers to vote on whether he should sell part of his stake in Tesla to meet his tax obligations.

The poll attracted more than 3.5 million votes, with nearly 58% voting in favor of the share sale.

Following the Twitter poll, shares of Tesla slumped more 15% over Monday and Tuesday, before rebounding more than 4% on Wednesday.

According to BBC, Mr Musk's trust sold almost 3.6 million shares in Tesla, worth around $4bn.

He also sold another 934,000 shares for about $1.1bn after exercising options to acquire nearly 2.2 million shares, according to filings with the US stock market regulator.

    the best opportunity was when it is around $600+. now it is a bit too late. even after musk sells his shares, the price still remain relatively high.

    for a fundamentally sound company like Tesla, it is always good to hop onto it whenever there's a sign of weakness.   For time like this where we don't know where is the bottom as Elon have only sold

      37.1% of his shares til date and still has 10.7 million more to sell, best thing for us is to Dollar Cost Average.  Slowly buy a bit at a time spreading across a period to Average out the cost.

    patience is a virtue. if Tesla share price can fall by 12% just by Elon musk selling 1.5 million of his shares, then there is carnage ahead where in he still have yet to sell 74% of that 10% stake
