DL Holdings Group (1709.HK) announced via the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on July 9 that substantial progress has been made in its Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization project in collaboration with leading fintech company Asseto Fintech Limited (Asseto). Following the signing of a strategic cooperation memorandum on June 30, DL Holdings is expected to become Hong Kong's first licensed brokerage to independently implement commercial property tokenization. It plans to convert physical assets with a maximum value of 500 million HKD into digital rights through blockchain technology, and distribute part of them to eligible shareholders of DL Holdings, compliant users of DL Securities, and verified users of its AI-Fintech platform NeuralFin by way of distribution in kind, with the maximum distribution amount reaching 60 million HKD.  

The first batch of assets to be tokenized includes certain rights and interests in DL Tower in Central and the asset rights and interests of three group-managed funds. The project will rely on Asseto's blockchain infrastructure to achieve compliant on-chain mapping and tokenization, and is currently in active communication with the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission regarding the application for an asset management license and operational details.

DL Holdings stated that this move not only reflects the company's commitment to rewarding shareholders and clients but also brings participants potential direct asset returns. Unlike traditional cash or dividend distributions, this distribution allows participants to directly hold on-chain assets, enjoy higher transparency and liquidity, and participate in the new generation of digital financial ecology. In addition, the project will realize the compliant binding of shareholder identity and digital asset rights for the first time, providing shareholders with an innovative experience through blockchain technology and exploring new models for future shareholder participation and digital interaction.  

At the end of June, DL Holdings and Asseto signed a strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding, aiming to jointly explore and develop tokenization solutions for Real-World Assets (RWA). The cooperation between the two parties has progressed rapidly, with assets successfully put on-chain just one week after the signing of the MOU. This project will become a pioneering demonstration of the integration of traditional finance and Web3 in Hong Kong, providing a replicable compliance sample for local financial institutions. DL Holdings also plans to apply for a Hong Kong stablecoin license and will accelerate the synergy between the AI applications of its AI-Fintech platform NeuralFin and Asseto.

The collaboration between DL Holdings and Asseto on the RWA tokenization project marks another breakthrough in the in-depth integration of traditional finance and blockchain technology, bringing investors a more diversified, transparent, and efficient asset management experience, and creating long-term value for the company's shareholders and clients.  

In addition, DL Holdings previously reached a strategic cooperation intention with ViaBTC, planning to carry out in-depth cooperation in multiple fields, including: jointly conducting cryptocurrency over-the-counter (OTC) transactions; providing professional asset management and family office services for OTC and/or cryptocurrency mining clients to meet their diversified wealth management needs.

The token distribution targets of DL Holdings this time include, in addition to DL Holdings' shareholders and DL Securities' users, verified users of its AI-Fintech platform NeuralFin. As an important layout of DL in the field of AI finance, NeuralFin is committed to building an AI-empowered one-stop financial ecological community, providing users with one-stop financial services including "information collection - key summary - advisor suggestions - product matching - one-click investment". It has successfully completed the Series A financing of tens of millions of Hong Kong dollars, showing strong development momentum.  

NeuralFin is planning to list in the United States, which is a key step for DL Holdings Group to realize the global strategic layout of "finance + technology + community". DL Holdings will accelerate its layout in the North American market, build a strategic alliance including top American universities, Silicon Valley technology enterprises, and institutional investors, expand investment opportunities, optimize resource allocation, and lay a solid foundation for NeuralFin's U.S. listing.  

In addition, the group will deepen the construction of the North American ultra-high-end real estate project ONE Carmel and the ONE Plus lifestyle service platform, committed to building a world-leading AI community, and accelerating the in-depth connection between DL and the global capital market.

From the rapid on-chain of assets to the innovative token distribution method, from multi-field cooperation to the U.S. listing plan for NeuralFin, every step demonstrates DL Holdings' determination and strength to stand at the forefront of the fintech wave. This is not only a breakthrough in the traditional financial model but also opens up a compliant, efficient, and innovative development path for the entire industry. This blockchain technology-driven financial innovation may reshape the digital competitiveness of Hong Kong as an international financial center and open a new era of "transparent asset ownership + intelligent liquidity management" for global investors.
