英特尔CEO陈立武铁腕新规:若芯片两次流片未能量产,员工将被炒鱿鱼
据外媒Tom's Hardware当地时间20日报道,英特尔CEO陈立武正大幅调整英特尔内部的芯片开发文化,而其中最核心的要求之一,就是芯片首次流片后的A0版本必须具备直接量产能力。此前的消息称,陈立武会亲自审核芯片设计并批准流片。陈立武随后进一步解释称,最初很多员工认为这些要求只是玩笑,但随着制度真正开始执行,英特尔内部已经意识到管理标准正在发生变化。

据报道,韩国存储芯片巨头SK海力士正在与$英特尔 $合作开展2.5D封装技术的研究与开发。报道称,SK海力士正在考虑采用英特尔研发的2.5D封装技术“嵌入式多芯片互连桥”。该公司目前正在进行测试,以将HBM和系统半导体与英特尔提供的EMIB嵌入式基板结合使用。在此背景下,英特尔的EMIB技术正逐渐受到行业关注。苹果订单若落地,将成为英特尔代工业务迄今最具分量的外部客户背书。而英特尔的先进封装技术,正好契合这个方向。

OpenAI正计划与高通合作推出智能手机,苹果或承压
据科技供应链分析师郭明錤透露,ChatGPT开发商OpenAI正计划推出智能手机,目前正在与高通等公司合作开发手机处理器,预计2028年启动量产。OpenAI和高通均未立即回应。去年,OpenAI曾宣布以64亿美元收购苹果前首席设计官Jony Ive创立的一家初创公司,但至今尚未发布任何硬件产品。苹果此前也曾与OpenAI合作,但最终在为Siri数字助手提供AI升级时选择了谷歌。Barron's的母公司News Corp与OpenAI存在内容授权合作伙伴关系。
