The ensuing rout caused lenders to lose more than $10 billion and forced internal probes and the departures of senior executives. Hwang’s brokers included Credit Suisse Group AG, Nomura Holdings Inc., Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.</p>\n<p>Bigger banks like JPMorgan Chase &amp; Co. and Bank of America Corp. have been issuing more debt since the expiration of the Federal Reserve’s supplementary leverage ratio relief in late March to boost their cash holdings to support ballooning balance sheets, said Kakuda.</p>\n<p>“I wouldn’t be surprised to see JPMorgan issue senior debt and they can also do sub or preferred notes,” he added. “Citi may do one bond deal until year end while Bank of America may start slowing down going forward.
