Wisdom from Richard D. Wyckoff
"We hear a great deal in Wall Street about "inside information" and the value of big connections. But I have found that the man who depends the most on his own judgement is headed for success if he has not already attained it. It is very easy to be swayed by the multitudinous opinions that are bandied around the Street..." - Richard D. Wyckoff
"It is better to depend on your own judgement than on that of any other person. If you have not reached a point where you can do this, better continue your studies and practice until you can form a sound, independent judgement on which you can base your commitments." - Richard D. Wyckoff
"The cultivation of foresight is most essential. In the main it is the man with the greatest amount of foresight who is most successful in the security market. Foresight is the very essence of speculation. Without the use of it a person is not speculating at all - he is merely taking chances, gambling." - Richard D. Wyckoff

Modern version - My 2 cents
Form your own trading plan without falling into other's plan usually leads to success. What we often hear about the "inside information" belongs to other's plan, not mine.
You need to learn until you have an edge in trading the market rather than relying on the opinions from others.
Apart from being able to analyze correctly (at that point of time), you will need a tactic for execution in the case when you are right and when you are wrong.
