$Annovis Bio, Inc.(ANVS)$ Very hard to find a drug for a disease for which etiology is not/or very poorly understood. In 20 years only one new drug was FDA approved for Alzheimer, the recent one from Biogen (Aduhelm) and even this was not meet in without controversy regarding its efficacy. Unfortunately, Annovis Bio just one of so many failed attempts in treating Alzheimer.
$Thermo Fisher Scientific(TMO)$ Thermo Fisher share are doing surprisingly well, considering waste majority of other biotech stock are in downtrend. Wondering how much longer before the downtrend will start.
$Abcam plc(ABCM)$ Unfortunately seems like a less known biotech company. As someone using their products on a regular basis, the company is known in the research community for their quality products. It is a well-established company and although quite limited in their product portfolio, they do have uniqueness. I am just surprised that so many of the biotech companies that are literary just “selling” an idea (= candidate drug in clinical trials and many many years away from a potential product) or relatively new companies like Twist bioscience (which is as limited as Abcam in their product profile) have such high trading volumes. Just wondering why, the trading volume of Abcam is low.
$Canaan Inc.(CAN)$ Does the stock realistically have a future? Considering some recent mayor anti-cryptocurrency mining activities and in general less less and less favorable governments/regulatory bodies views on cryptocurrencies just wondering if Canaan stock (and other similar stocks) can makes some significant upward moves this year.
