Verint Systems (VRNT) is exploring a potential sale and has hired bankers to seek buyers, Semafor reported Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The call-center software maker, valued at about $1.2 billion, faces mounting pressure from artificial-intelligence agents, the report said.
Verint didn't immediately reply to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
The company's shares fell 3.9% in recent trading Tuesday.
