Reliance Defence Partners With Coastal Mechanics to offer MRO Services for Defense Platforms

Reliance Defence, promoted by Reliance Infrastructure (NSE:RELINFRA, BOM:500390), has signed a strategic agreement with US-based Coastal Mechanics to jointly provide maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO), and upgrade solutions for Indian defense platforms, according to a Monday filing.

The partnership will focus on lifecycle support for Jaguar and MiG-29 fighter jets, Apache helicopters, L-70 air defense guns, and other legacy systems, the filing said.

A joint venture will be established at MIHAN in Maharashtra, India to serve both Indian and export markets, it added.
