Amazon has told investors to expect revenue of $100 billion to $106 billion, with operating income of between $3 billion and $6.5 billion, and about $2 billion in costs related to Covid-19. The Wall Street consensus calls for revenue of $104.5 billion, with profits of $9.54 a share.

The Street also clearly expects the quarter’s results to show continued strength in e-commerce. Amazon has told investors to expect revenue of $100 billion to $106 billion, with operating income of between $3 billion and $6.5 billion, and about $2 billion in costs related to Covid-19. The Wall Street consensus calls for revenue of $104.5 billion, with profits of $9.54 a share.\nThe Street also clearly expects the quarter’s results to show continued strength in e-commerce. According to FactSet, Wall Street analysts expect online-stores revenue of $51.5 billion, up 41% from a year ago, with third-party sales of $21.7 billion, up 50%. Subscription revenues are expected to be $7.3 billion, up 32%, while revenue from physical stores is expected to be $4.3 billion, down 8%. AWS revenues are projected at $13.2 billion, up 29%.\nOne open question is what forecasts the company will make for the June quarter as parts of the country begin to return to more normal economic activity. The Street is projecting June quarter revenue of $108.7 billion and profits of $10.81 a share.\nIn an earnings preview note, Truist analyst Youssef Squali reiterated a Buy rating on the stock and a target of $3,750 for the share price. The stock closed Tuesday at $3,417.43, up 4.9% year to date.\nHe expects revenue to come in at the high end of the range Amazon predicted, saying e-commerce demand has remained strong both in the U.S. and internationally, given that the pandemic has been slow to subside. Conversations with people in the industry and strong earning disclosed last week by Snap bode well for Amazon’s ad business, which is lumped into a category called “other,” he wrote. He also thinks the market continues to underestimate the long-term growth potential of the dominance of the company’s two key businesses—e-commerce and AWS—as well as the company’s “emerging leadership in online advertising.”\nStifel analyst Scott Devitt is similarly bullish, repeating a Buy rating and $4,000 target price. It's likely the company could see a further moderation in margins, as production of the higher priced Model S/X vehicles was stalled in the quarter to allow for model refreshes.View more earnings on TSLAWith competitive pressure intensifying, Tesla could aggressively slash vehicles prices in order to achieve volume production targets, long-time Tesla bear Gordon Johnson said in a note previewing the quarterly results.Tesla investors may also be keen to find out more about the company's Bitcoin investment strategy and its decision to allow the use of Bitcoin for vehicle purchases.Forward Outlook: Tesla is well positioned to capitalize on the opportunity presented by the exponential growth that is anticipated for green energy vehicles. Its Giga Shanghai factory is now churning out both Model S and Model Y vehicles, and more capacity is expected to come on line with the opening of factories in Berlin and Texas.Tesla's CFO Zach Kirkhorn said on the earnings call that the company is shooting for a 50% compounded annual growth rate in volume sales and expects to materially exceed the target in 2021.Stock Take: Tesla's shares, which were flying high until early February, joined the tech sell-off that ensued. From a split-adjusted high of $900.40 on Jan. 25, the stock fell to $539.49 on March 5, a peak-to-trough decline of 40%.Although the stock has made good some of the losses since then, it is yet to break above $800 level.Tesla holds a several-year lead and is now expanding aggressively into storage, and therefore a premium valuation for its shares is justified, CANACCORD Genuity analyst Jed Dorsheimer said in a recent note. The firm has a $1,071 price target for the stock.Friday, Tesla's shares ended 1.35% higher at $729.40.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2835,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":372814697,"gmtCreate":1619190529919,"gmtModify":1634287861701,"author":{"id":"3574746761625491","authorId":"3574746761625491","name":"KylerLee","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/d6343877b4edfb9ffddbfde9273a3a1b","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3574746761625491","idStr":"3574746761625491"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[What] ","listText":"[What] ","text":"[What]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/372814697","repostId":"2129843350","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1552,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":378573532,"gmtCreate":1619052952626,"gmtModify":1634288938937,"author":{"id":"3574746761625491","authorId":"3574746761625491","name":"KylerLee","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/d6343877b4edfb9ffddbfde9273a3a1b","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3574746761625491","idStr":"3574746761625491"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[666] ","listText":"[666] ","text":"[666]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/378573532","repostId":"1138064116","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2003,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":371039099,"gmtCreate":1618890433111,"gmtModify":1634290105671,"author":{"id":"3574746761625491","authorId":"3574746761625491","name":"KylerLee","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/d6343877b4edfb9ffddbfde9273a3a1b","crmLevel":12,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3574746761625491","idStr":"3574746761625491"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[Thinking] ","listText":"[Thinking] ","text":"[Thinking]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/371039099","repostId":"1151963822","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1151963822","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Stock Market Quotes, Business News, Financial News, Trading Ideas, and Stock Research by Professionals","home_visible":0,"media_name":"Benzinga","id":"1052270027","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/d08bf7808052c0ca9deb4e944cae32aa"},"pubTimestamp":1618888436,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1151963822?lang=zh_CN&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-04-20 11:13","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Pandemic Savings + Government Stimulus: What It All Means For The Stock Market And Economy
","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1151963822","media":"Benzinga","summary":"TheSPDR S&P 500 ETF TrustSPY 0.47%is up more than 86% since the S&P hit its pandemic low in March 20","content":"
TheSPDR S&P 500 ETF TrustSPY 0.47%is up more than 86% since the S&P hit its pandemic low in March 2020. Alternatively, they are also key players in this current age of digital finance. Whatever way you cut it, the fintech industry is becoming more essential and is here to stay for the long run. Meanwhile, more conventional top fintech stocks like Mastercard (NYSE: MA) and American Express (NYSE: AXP) have mostly seen their shares recover to pre-pandemic levels. Therefore, investors would be logical in looking for thebest fintech stocks now. Having read till this point, you might be interested in investing in this industry yourself. If you are, here are four fintech stocks to consider now.

Top Fintech Stocks To Watch

Mogo Inc.(NASDAQ: MOGO)

PayPal Holdings Inc.(NASDAQ: PYPL)

Square Inc.(NYSE: SQ)

Green Dot Corporation(NYSE: GDOT)

Mogo Inc.

Starting us off is Canadian fintech company Mogo. It offers a wide range of financial services ranging from personal loans, mortgages, a Visa Prepaid Card, and credit score viewing. More importantly, the company also facilitates Bitcoin transactions. This particular service has exploded together with the price of the cryptocurrency over the last month. Mogo saw massive month-over-month jumps of 141% in new Bitcoin accounts added and 323% in Bitcoin transaction volume in January. Likewise, MOGO stock is currently up by over 160% year-to-date. Aside from Bitcoin-related tailwinds, the company has also been hard at work expanding its financial portfolio.

For starters, Mogo acquired leading digital payments solutions provider Carta Worldwide, over two weeks ago. This move expanded Mogo’s addressable market by entering the global $2.5 trillion payments market. Following that, the company expanded into Japan last week via Carta. According to Mogo, this move was in support of the TransferWise multi-currency debit card launch in the country. With this move, Mogo continues to expand its market reach globally and seems eager to make the most of its newly acquired subsidiary. Just like our other entries on this list, the company does facilitate cryptocurrency transactions for its clients. Last week, PayPal reported record figures across the board. For its fourth quarter, the company saw a total payment volume (TPV) of $277 billion, a 39% increase year-over-year. Furthermore, the company’s earnings per share more than tripled over the same time as well. In detail, TPVs across its merchant services and Venmo app grew by 42% and 60% respectively. With PayPal riding both Bitcoin and pandemic tailwinds, PYPL stock continues to soar to greater heights. It has gained by over 230% since the March lows and closed yesterday at a record high. Investors may be wondering if it still has room to run moving forward.

For one thing, the company does not seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Yesterday, it announced a new collaboration with global commerce solutions provider Digital River (DR). To summarize, PayPal now has a new ‘pay later’ option available to U.S. clients on DR’s e-commerce platform. The “Pay in 4” feature will allow customers to pay for items priced from $30 to $600 across four interest-free payments. Simultaneously, merchants get paid upfront at no additional cost to the customer. As PayPal continues to make waves in the fintech space, could PYPL stock continue to flourish this year? You tell me.

Square Inc.

Another top fintech company on the radar now would be Square. Aside from its Bitcoin-related services, the leading fintech player does bring a lot to the table. Whether it is financial solutions, merchant services, or mobile payment, Square’s offerings compete with the best in the field. For the uninitiated, the company markets software and hardware payments products to businesses of all sizes. At the same time, its consumer-focused digital payment ecosystem, Cash App, has also seen mind-blowing growth in the past year.
