But looming zero-carbon mandates in cities such as London and Paris and countries from Norway to China have lent additional urgency to the industry’s EV-related investment commitments.\nThe most recent analysis shows carmakers planning to spend an estimated $515 billion over the next five to 10 years to develop and build new battery-powered vehicles and shift away from combustion engines. But industry executives and forecasters remain concerned that consumer demand for EVs could fall well short of aggressive targets without substantial additional incentives and even greater spending on charging infrastructure and grid capacity.\nBrian Maxim, head of global powertrain forecasting at AutoForecast Solutions, likens the growing investment commitments in vehicle electrification to the Cold War: \"Once a few manufacturers announced EV programs, everyone else had to announce their own or be viewed as being left behind.\"\nHowever, he added, \"this leaves a lot of vehicle manufacturers planning significant volumes for a vehicle category that has unknown consumer acceptance, and will have minimal to no profit\" for years.\nReuters compiled the investment data from company statements, investor presentations and regulatory filings.\nOther surveys have come up with different spending projections. In June, consulting firm AlixPartners said auto industry investments in electric vehicles would reach $330 billion by 2025. In 2020, all global automakers combined spent nearly $225 billion on capital expenditures and research and development, according to AlixPartners.\nTesla Inc, the world's largest EV manufacturer, appears to be the one company that is selling virtually every vehicle it can build and is readying new multibillion-dollar \"gigafactories\" near Berlin and Austin that will significantly boost its annual production capacity. In early November, the company was valued at $1.2 trillion, more than twice the combined value of Volkswagen AG, Toyota Motor Corp, Ford Motor Co and General Motors Co.\nMeanwhile, political and regulatory pressure is building on the world's carmakers to begin phasing out production of fossil-fueled vehicles, including gasoline-electric hybrids, over the next 10-15 years, while ramping up output of full electric models.\nA number of countries, from Singapore to Sweden, have said they will ban sales of new combustion engine vehicles by 2030. U.S. President Joseph Biden has said he wants 40% to 50% of sales to be electric vehicles by 2030.\nGermany's VW Group, which is still recovering financially from the 2016 Dieselgate emissions cheating scandal, continues to lead the rest of the industry, with more than $110 billion in EV and battery investment commitments through 2030. Those commitments, which represent more than 20% of the industry total, underpin VW's aggressive rollout plans for millions of EVs in Europe, China and North America over the next decade.\nVW's investments, like those of many of its rivals, are aimed at improving the range and performance of batteries and lowering the cost of EVs, as well as expanding battery and EV production across the globe, according to public data released by the companies.\nVW and fellow German automakers Daimler AG and BMW AG are planning to spend a combined $185 billion through 2030, while U.S. automakers GM and Ford expect to spend nearly $60 billion through 2025.\nChinese automakers, led by VW and GM local partner SAIC Motor, have announced well over $100 billion in investment targets over the next decade. That is more evidence that Tesla is here to stay as the world’s most valuable car company.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"TSLA":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2116,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":800995074,"gmtCreate":1627269976898,"gmtModify":1633766659759,"author":{"id":"3578220246250610","authorId":"3578220246250610","name":"ohty0308","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1488b6459dba7c0c98675f806ac94140","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578220246250610","authorIdStr":"3578220246250610"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Looking forward!","listText":"Looking forward!","text":"Looking forward!","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/800995074","repostId":"1100772026","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2281,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":141170368,"gmtCreate":1625843884754,"gmtModify":1633936750460,"author":{"id":"3578220246250610","authorId":"3578220246250610","name":"ohty0308","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1488b6459dba7c0c98675f806ac94140","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578220246250610","authorIdStr":"3578220246250610"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Oof!","listText":"Oof!","text":"Oof!","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/141170368","repostId":"1103507901","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":3181,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":152247146,"gmtCreate":1625303161885,"gmtModify":1633941587378,"author":{"id":"3578220246250610","authorId":"3578220246250610","name":"ohty0308","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1488b6459dba7c0c98675f806ac94140","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578220246250610","authorIdStr":"3578220246250610"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Nice","listText":"Nice","text":"Nice","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/152247146","repostId":"1140994998","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1919,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":152050600,"gmtCreate":1625243764200,"gmtModify":1633942110053,"author":{"id":"3578220246250610","authorId":"3578220246250610","name":"ohty0308","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1488b6459dba7c0c98675f806ac94140","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578220246250610","authorIdStr":"3578220246250610"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Personal opinion, but tsla still remains a good investment for 10 years down the road 👍🏻","listText":"Personal opinion, but tsla still remains a good investment for 10 years down the road 👍🏻","text":"Personal opinion, but tsla still remains a good investment for 10 years down the road 👍🏻","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/152050600","repostId":"1150773953","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1150773953","kind":"news","pubTimestamp":1625238037,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1150773953?lang=zh_CN&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-07-02 23:00","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Tesla Reported Record Deliveries. That should happen close to the end of 2021. Tesla is also expected to offer its higher level of driver assistance software, dubbed Full Self Driving, on a subscription basis soon. The uptake of that product will be another thing closely watched by investors.\nAnother potential catalyst for investors will be second quarter earnings which should be reported in late July. Wall Street projects about 95 cents in per share earnings from $11.3 billion in sales. Tesla earned 93 cents a share in the first quarter of 2021. Based on deliveries numbers look achievable, but factors such as regulatory credit sales always can impact Tesla’s bottom line number.\nTesla earns and sells regulatory credits around the globe by making more than its fair share of zero emission vehicles.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"TSLA":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1625,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":150245756,"gmtCreate":1624918395275,"gmtModify":1633947172508,"author":{"id":"3578220246250610","authorId":"3578220246250610","name":"ohty0308","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1488b6459dba7c0c98675f806ac94140","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578220246250610","authorIdStr":"3578220246250610"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Niceee!","listText":"Niceee!","text":"Niceee!","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/150245756","repostId":"2146839359","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1935,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":124032060,"gmtCreate":1624704956050,"gmtModify":1633949414859,"author":{"id":"3578220246250610","authorId":"3578220246250610","name":"ohty0308","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1488b6459dba7c0c98675f806ac94140","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578220246250610","authorIdStr":"3578220246250610"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"yasssss leggo TSLA!","listText":"yasssss leggo TSLA!","text":"yasssss leggo TSLA!","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/124032060","repostId":"1100072036","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1979,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":122981418,"gmtCreate":1624592906134,"gmtModify":1633950778335,"author":{"id":"3578220246250610","authorId":"3578220246250610","name":"ohty0308","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1488b6459dba7c0c98675f806ac94140","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578220246250610","authorIdStr":"3578220246250610"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Bull market leggo","listText":"Bull market leggo","text":"Bull market leggo","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/122981418","repostId":"2146023477","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":2127,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":128287485,"gmtCreate":1624518904547,"gmtModify":1634004944278,"author":{"id":"3578220246250610","authorId":"3578220246250610","name":"ohty0308","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1488b6459dba7c0c98675f806ac94140","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578220246250610","authorIdStr":"3578220246250610"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Tsla takes up majority of my portfolio👍🏻","listText":"Tsla takes up majority of my portfolio👍🏻","text":"Tsla takes up majority of my portfolio👍🏻","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/128287485","repostId":"1176854050","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":1999,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":123168339,"gmtCreate":1624412489621,"gmtModify":1634006497680,"author":{"id":"3578220246250610","authorId":"3578220246250610","name":"ohty0308","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1488b6459dba7c0c98675f806ac94140","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578220246250610","authorIdStr":"3578220246250610"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"💎🤲🏻! They are looking for catalysts to break shares out of their recent funk.\nTesla stock (ticker: TSLA) is down about 15% year to date and off about 50% from its January 52-week high of $900.40. Tesla has ceded leadership—from a stock perspective—back to traditional auto makers: General Motors (GM) and Ford Motor (F) shares are up 45% and 70% year to date, respectively.\nThat performance is flummoxing Tesla bulls. “Let’s begin with a healthy dose of intellectual honesty on the starting point for the stock,” writes Morgan Stanley analyst Adam Jonas in a Monday evening report. He is a Tesla bull rating shares Buy. His price target for the stock is $900 a share, almost 50% higher than recent levels. “Even bulls should admit that the rise in the stock price during the second half of 2020, while perhaps deserved in principle, was packed into a highly concentrated time frame,” he writes.\nTesla shares rose 227% in the second half of 2020, buoyed by strong earnings, strong deliveries, and the stock’s inclusion in the S&P 500.\n“The stock had the better part of five years-worth of performance packed into about five month,” Jonas adds. He says his clients are now looking for the next big thing that can drive the stock forward again. His ideas include capacity expansion in Texas and Germany. After that, he predicts Tesla will open up five more plants between now and the middle of this decade.\nJonas is also looking for Tesla to unveil another new vehicle model. By his estimation, Tesla covers only about 15% of the total addressable market for the auto industry with its Y, X, 3, and S models. Model expansion will be a positive. That isn’t on the near-term horizon, though the company is due to deliver its Cybertruck later in 2021.\nCanaccord analyst Jonathan Dorsheimer is looking in a different area for a catalyst: residential solar power. Part of the reason he is bullish is that “Tesla is creating an energy brand and an Apple-esque ecosystem of products with customer focused connectivity, seamlessly marrying car, solar, and back-up power,” he wrote in a report released Sunday.\nDorsheimer is bullish, but feeling a little down lately. He still rates the stock Buy, but he cut his price target to $812 from $974 in his report. Among other things, he is disappointed by battery delays. Tesla is planning to use larger battery cells that promise better range, charge time, and costs. Those batteries aren’t available yet.\nLooking a little further back, Goldman Sachs analyst Mark Delaney was watching Tesla’s Model S Plaid delivery event last week. The Plaid can go zero to 60 miles per hour in less than two seconds. Delaney was impressed by the technology, but pointed out the Plaid, at roughly $130,000, is a niche vehicle. He is looking for 2021 deliveries to exceed expectations. Delaney is modeling 875,000 vehicles for Tesla in 2021. The Wall Street consensus number is closer to 825,000.\nDelaney rates shares Buy and has an $860 price target.\nNew production ramping up, strong deliveries, and a growing solar business is what these three will watch for in coming months. If all goes well, those catalysts should be enough to drive Tesla stock higher, as long as there is no bad news in the meantime.\nTesla stock was down 3% to $599.36 on Tuesday, and down slightly for the week.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"TSLA":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":608,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":160085756,"gmtCreate":1623766678575,"gmtModify":1634028631279,"author":{"id":"3578220246250610","authorId":"3578220246250610","name":"ohty0308","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1488b6459dba7c0c98675f806ac94140","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578220246250610","authorIdStr":"3578220246250610"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"btc for the win","listText":"btc for the win","text":"btc for the win","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://laohu8.com/post/160085756","repostId":"1180911259","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1180911259","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1623765092,"share":"https://www.laohu8.com/m/news/1180911259?lang=zh_CN&edition=full","pubTime":"2021-06-15 21:51","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Blockchain stocks mixed in morning trading
区块链股票早盘涨跌互现
","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1180911259","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"(June 15) Blockchain stocks mixed in morning trading.","content":"
(June 15) Blockchain stocks mixed in morning trading.

(6月15日)区块链股早盘涨跌不一。

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html;
