Their first reaction would be to follow suit and sell, thinking if the big names in the market can't trust tesla, how can I have the trust to put my money into tesla? But let's take a step back and analyse why did she sell tesla. Did she dump all the holdings in tesla? The answer is no. She still holds about 4 billion in tesla and her recent sell-off only amounts to about 3% of her total holdings. What about the other insiders? Did they sell off their holdings to leave a sinking ship? The answer is again no. They exercised their option to

You'll be amazed to find out they aren't just selling EVs as a product. They're aimed at selling a lifestyle. Chip shortages are only temporary. But we should take a step back and look at the bigger picture. Are EVs still in demand? Yes. Therfore NIO still has potential.

$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$I bought it when it was all time high, bought in when it was all time low. Basically, I bought regardless of its price. Simply because I believe in the growth of the company. Data is one sector where regardless of the advancement of technology, it would never fall off. And for a CEO to honestly tell you to not buy in this short unless you're planning to hold 10 years down the road, it gives me the trust to hold into his vision. Some optimistic analysts hold a price target of $250 in 5 years. Others believe that it is only worth $17. Me? I still hold to my price target of $60 in 2 years. And that's a whopping 3X from my current holding. 

$Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$some people ask me why don't I sell it when it's at its high at $25 before it drops any lower? Simple. If I haven't sold it at $26 why would I sell it now? Just because the price is dropping? Never look at the current price to measure the company's future. 

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$I'll be honest with you. I have 45% of my entire portfolio in tesla. Why? Simply because I haven't found a company as innovative as tesla. Do I believe that tesla will be 100x down the road, based on market cap, I would say the chances are relatively slim. But would tesla have a chance to 2x. Definitely. Not in one week, not in one month, but give it a year.

For example if you took profit at $25 previously and you're thinking of buying back when the stock price drops but the stock shoots up to $28. So now you're afraid that you'll miss the boat and buy back in at a higher entry price. And guess what, now it's back to $27 instead. Moral of the story, don't let your emotions control you. Buy in stocks with good fundamentals and just enjoy holding it!

Buy because of the company not because of the price$NIO Inc.(NIO)$A lot of people have been saying buy the dip. But what does it actually mean? For example if the company is doing well, but it's share prices drop because of people taking profits short term. That's buying the dip. If the company is generating lesser profits this quarter due to expansion. I would still say, buy the dip. But if the company is going down because of bad management, then I'll recommend to steer clear. Not every dip is a buying opportunity. Always do your due research and understand why the price of the company is going down.
