I think management of PLTR decided that they will print as much stock compensation as we are willing to purchase. PLTR management does not care if this stock is 5, 10 or 19 $ per share. The 41 fold decrease in Pfe/Biontech is in fact good news for both Mrna vaccines who can quickly adapt and come up with new vaccine compared with other vaccines. The other hand, most recent news shows Pfizer's three shots protects against omicron. I don't know if that's good news or bad news for current vs future mRNA vaccines.
