Also, so many American hedge funds are still investing in the company. If BABA was delisted, the government would retaliate by banning Apple, Microsoft, Tesla…businesses and products in China. That is of course not good for US economy at all. Investors in BABA still have shares in Hong Kong market, just like move the cake from one store to another. They still own a piece of cake.
