Mommy told me that it is easier for me to send her my writings to you instead of emailing you directly. Even though it sounds a little strange, I guess I will hide some of our secrets and send you my best regards through her channel, so that both of my gals will feel my love at the same time. Blink blink!
You know daddy loves writing, mainly in Chinese. But most importantly, writing helps me to rationalize my thoughts and to articulate. As Wiseman Chen used to say: “If you don’t have ideas, read. If you have ideas, but cannot articulate them, write. If you have ideas and clarity to justify them, but question the execution. Don’t. Just make them happen.”
Yes, Reading, Writing and Execution. If you put those three magical words together, they rhyme with the sound of success.
You are almost 16 and daddy is so proud of you and wish spending every day with you before you are 100% set to be on your own journey. Daddy has a lot to catch up and make up for you, but daddy would never say regrets. Once the decision is being made, true character will firmly follow through his/her own words. Daddy decides to devote and commit more to DL company at this stage and therefore I can only express my love in a different way.
Action always speaks louder than words. I choose to set great example as a leader with integrity and many good traits for you to follow. As such, you will learn through my discipline, habits, actions and results.
Lastly, I want you to show your love to the entire family, including mommy, didi, grandmas and grandpa, as they are the love ones love you unconditionally. Time passes a lot faster than you realize. By the time you finish your summer camp, you would wish you have more time. Same thing applies to the love ones.

女儿，当“阅读”、“写作”、“执行”这三个魔法词语汇聚成风，“成功”便会像树上的风铃般发出清脆的回响。
转眼你都快十六岁了，你是如此美丽、聪慧、贴心，每每提到你，爸爸满心骄傲。在外面我是一个坚不可摧的人，唯独你是我心头的柔软和亏欠。在你完全准备好独自面对人生前，我多么希望能每一天都陪伴在你身边。
抱歉女儿，现阶段爸爸要为德林倾注更多心力。我不想说后悔，既然做出选择，就要坚定地履行承诺。我想，作为父女，我们身上流淌着相同的倔强、拼搏和责任，即便不在身边，你也可以感受到爸爸的精神力量。
行动永远胜于空谈。爸爸想要以身作则，作为领导者树立正直的榜样，让你能从我的自律、习惯、行动和成果中获得启发。
最后，希望你把爱传递给全家人——妈妈、弟弟、奶奶和外公外婆，他们始终无条件爱着你。时光以超乎我们想象的速度飞逝，等夏令营结束时你会怀念过往时光，面对所爱之人也是如此。
