TSM shares would have gone much higher

I’m new to this and purchase a few shares several months ago but have seen very little change in share value. I thought $Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ TSM shares would have gone much higher in view of the chip shortages.TSMC makes key components for everything from cellphones and F-35 fighter jets, to NASA’s Perseverance Rover mission to Mars.
