Once the interest rate increase, borrowing costs increase and equity raising will also be affected due to its decreasing share price. it will be hard for SEA to maintain its leading position in the shop. soon a <$100 share in my opinion.
I remember one year ago I was laughed at when I said SE will report higher sales and higher losses, and it is not expected to make a profit for the next 5 years at least. SE's Shopee is a lousy site selling mostly cheap stuff. Many China biz people are setting up shops in South East Asian countries selling cheap inferior China-made stuff on Shopee. Think WISH, that's what SE's Shopee is.
