Hope Apple continues to perform well

I hope Apple and entire market continues to perform well. I hate to see people lose money in $Apple(AAPL)$ stock market, it is upsetting in my opinion. I saw on Yahoo a person or institution with a lot of money has a big put option on Apple where they stand to gain nearly 80k. I feel the SEC should stop people from placing bets against any company as it is heartless to gain from someone else's losses. when they started a fund betting against Cathy Woods this too was terrible. why is this permitted it is so wrong
