I went to the Tiger event on Sunday 9 Jan late afternoon, with a friend, who was also a Tiger app client. Since it was already quite late, so we just joined in the queue of the Tiger event premise, instead of going to the recommended venues to catch the gigantic Tiger Dolls.

The guessing game of Tiger appearance in the Left or Right door was quite fun (computer-generated random codes?). Somehow I thought the Tiger must appear even after 3 non-appearance chances, finally got one more coin by standing on the Right box!

One insight was to learn about the UT Starter Pack, a Buy from me. Firstly, the funds were already selected in the pack. As I was a beginner to funds, the pre-selected funds would save me the time and hassle to go research and select for purchase! I trust Tiger would recommend solid highly-rated funds for clients. Secondly, I could get SGD50 back if were to stay invested with just SGD400 for more than 90 days. Good marketing campaign for starter.

Thank you Tiger guys and gals for all the hard and painstaking effort to plan, install and execute the event successfully. Kudos!

What I hope in this year of Tiger:

Tiger will continue the low and competitive brokerage fees, even when prices are increasing around us from transport to food.

Tiger will strategise to increase Tiger share price for all shareholders, be it share-buy back or tie-ups to grow market pie.

I like the user-friendly App UI and hope Tiger will continue to endeavor to add value for Options trading, keeping the fees low and attractive for more trading opportunities.
