What started out nicely to the year went one gear better in the month of May when most people stay away due to the age old adage of "sell in May", but little did I think that it was delayed to a month later where the bloodshed took place, wiping most of my earnings gone for the year and still bleeding now as the main detractors $GameStop(GME)$ (100 shares from called put option) and $Canadian Solar(CSIQ)$ (multiple call options that I bought and multiple put options that I sold) contributed the bulk of the losses. The losses on $Canadian Solar(CSIQ)$ was one that I didn't see it coming, with it being a profit making one compared to similar competitors in the industry but alas, the whole industry was taken for a ride. Hopefully, with the Q2 earnings release things will change for the better. Until then, fingers crossed 🤞
