The company is scheduled to price its deal on Aug. 4 and begin to trade the next day, a person familiar with the situation said.\nTraeger, which makes wood pellet grills, is also going public and is expected to list its shares on Thursday. Traeger is offering 23.5 million shares at $16 to $18 each, its prospectus said.\nWeber is known for outdoor grills that include gas, charcoal, pellet, and electric models, as well as smokers. Grills can sell for as low as $37.99 for the “Smokey Joe Portable Charcoal Grill” or as high as $1,199 for the “Genesis II E-435 Black 4-Burner Liquid Propane Gas Grill with 1 Side Burner.” George Stephen Sr. invented the original Weber grill, a dome-like half sphere with holes in the bottom for air flow, nearly 50 years ago.\nThe company benefited as the pandemic encouraged people to grill outdoors.
